Removal of a representative measuring gas from the exhaust of different combustion engines is one of the most important and at the same time most difficult tasks of online analysis. The heated XT-F1 can switch up to 3 sample points incl. pressure-relieve of the sample gas in its full equipment.

The heated analytic line BAL serves to transport sample gases that have to hold at specific temperatures. It can be heated up to +200°C and is also temperature-regulated.
The high temperature sample line HTAL is used in gas analytic for the transportation of gases, that have to be held at a specific temperature. At the Input of the stainless steel tube can gases having a temperature of up to +900°C. At the entrance of the heated portion of the line, the exhaust temperature may still amounted to +600°C. From here it is held on the setpoint (max. 250°C, higher temperatures on demand). If the maximum exhaust gas temperatures lower than the maximum allowable Temperature, the stainless steel tube can be shortened on site.
The heating line test unit enables quick control of heated analytic lines and the appropriate temperature controller without uninstallation.
The heated filter housing can optionally be connected as a separate module before heated measuring gas lines or analysers. If the measuring gases are heavily contaminated, several filter housings can be connected in series. The filter cleans dust and particles out of the measuring gas that is being conveyed.
For the exhaust emission measurement of engines, the controlling authorities
strongly focus on continuously heated measuring gas paths, from the
extraction to the measuring system. The objective is to prevent drops of temperature at unheated junctions from affecting the exhaust components. CGS closes the gap with the heated connector of the LCH series.
